He is also general editor of the 28-volume Reformation Commentary on Scripture. He is an ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Convention. Dr. George was educated at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (A.B.), Harvard Divinity School (M.Div.), and Harvard University (Th.D.).
